Susan Kyne Andrews
Philosophy teacher in Temple Carrig Secondary School in Greystones. She holds an honours degree in Philosophy from UCD. Susan is one of the first teachers to devise a formal curriculum for second-level philosophy in Ireland. Rooted in an experiential approach to learning, Susan endeavours to make learning as engaging, relevant and enjoyable as possible for her students.
Ann-Marie Ireland
A motivational speaker, published author and facilitator of courses in self-care, renewal and mindfulness. Annmarie has worked in education for over 16 years and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a BA degree in Humanities (Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology & Religious Studies)
Lukasz Krzywon
Originally from Poland, Lukasz is the founder and CEO of Creative Together.
A philosopher, artist, musician and educator. has been living in Co. Mayo in Ireland since 2004. He also works as a Travel Officer for Green-Schools Ireland and as an SEAI workshops facilitator.
Dr. Áine Mahon
Assistant Professor in the School of Education at UCD, a position she has held since September 2015. She researches and teaches in the Philosophy of Education and the Philosophy of Literature. Áine is a founding member of Philosophy Ireland and Co-Founder of the Irish Young Philosopher Awards
Daniel Mccrea
Daniel is the founder of www.PhilosophyShortCourse.com.
His goal is to make Teaching Philosophy the best job in Ireland.
He Holds an M.A. (Hons) In Philosophy and has spoken at, and facilitated, many public philosophy events. He has trained with Marelle Rice, Peter Worley and Educate Together.
John McGuinness
John McGuinness is a Politics & Society teacher in Temple Carrig Secondary School in Greystones. He is a module coordinator of the Politics & Society PME methodology module with the School of Education in UCD. PolSoc is a new Leaving Certificate subject which brings together the disciplines of Politics, Philosophy and Sociology through student led enquiry-based learning.
Elizabeth O'Brien
Second-level teacher of Philosophy, Maths and Chemistry, pursuing a PhD in Children and Youth Studies at UCD, considering Initial Teacher Education through the lens of Philosophy of Education. Convenor of Readers, Rebels and Realisation: Young Adult Fiction and Philosophy of Education module, guest lecturer in Phil of Ed. Cofounder of the Philosophy of Education Reading Network. .
